“Diversity” it seems has been our communications world for the last quarter. Here’s a range of some of the great client projects we are working on from Manchester to Rutland to touching the magic of 2012, business is certainly fast paced..
Culture Club 13th June 2011

A year to go to the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games and this month the East Midlands team commissioned Holland Alexander to deliver for the third year the “Culture Club 2011” Conference held at The Core in Corby. 150 delegates heard from Paul Deighton, Chief Executive at LOCOG, Ruth Mackenzie, Head of the Cultural Olympiad and regional delivery teams from Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. The Torch Relay programme was another highlight in a packed speaker schedule combined with strong artistic performances by Joel Stickley, DjoeeTomakloe and the Four Winds Festival.
HA preferred technical supplier for Concorde Conference Centre

In April we worked with Manchester Airport in staging a trade event at the Concorde Conference Centre, branded as “Manchester Airport Rocks.” Our team designed and managed the technical production at the event. Having worked successfully together on the project, we are delighted to have been appointed as a preferred events technical supplier to the spectacular venue. If you are looking for a unique location (it’s next to the runway ..) and an impressive iconic backdrop for your next event, Concorde Conference Centre is a winner.
Four Winds Festival 25th and 26th June 2011

Our marketing and PR ideas were brought into the Four Winds Festival 2011 team back in March. In developing the public engagement campaign, we created a short film to be played on the BBC Big Screens in Leicester and Derby city centres. The film profiles the family 12noon to 4pm festival and the evening performance of The Way The Winds Blow. If you cannot wait until your next city centre, take a look at a commercial edit of film on our website. See film

The Way the Winds Blow It is the story of Rutland Water as told in an atmospheric treat of music, dance and choreographed sailing in the most dramatic of settings that Hannah Gordon will be bringing to life for the audience assembled on the banks of the south shore on the weekend of 25th and 26th June 2011. Tickets are on sale for the evening show at £5 concessions, £10 adults at www.fourwindsfestival.co.uk

Good luck to Chris Baldwin and his production team for next weekend’s festival
