Producing a Team Summit
Holland Alexander recently worked in collaboration with Menzies Distribution to produce their Senior Leadership Team Summit 2020.
Holland Alexander worked on an event for Menzies Distribution in 2017 and, seeing as this business has embarked on such a journey since then, we organised for colleagues to come together to discuss the course the business has taken, as well as where it is headed for the future. The main theme for the event was ‘One Team, Stronger Together’ which was reinforced with interactive workshops, an awards Gala Dinner and Q&A panel sessions.
Our team worked hard to create a memorable experience from start to finish for the delegates. The setting for the event was the 4* Hilton Birmingham Metropole; delegates received gift bags containing various ‘goodies’ upon arrival, before entering the Exhibition Hall. This was where several partners of Menzies showcased their goods and services and there were many opportunities for the exhibitors to network with the Menzies delegates. After a busy first day, delegates were invited for pre-dinner drinks to socialise and network, followed by a three course Gala Dinner. To end the evening, there was an awards ceremony, an auction where delegates could bid on some amazing prizes and a closing address from the company’s MD. Day two was filled with further discussions, breakout sessions and open mic/Q&A sessions.
We worked to create an engaging and unforgettable couple of days for the delegates, managing each aspect of the event, including venue management, programme management, set design and technical build, speaker rehearsals, print, exhibition management etc.
One reason we love producing events such as these is getting to work with people who really benefit from them. We have had some amazing feedback from delegates and exhibitors to let us know how valuable they found the event. We are very proud to have created such a memorable and beneficial experience for the attendees; we thrive on the planning and the detail that goes into such an event and we very much look forward to working with Menzies Distribution on future projects.
