London’s City Hall to host EuraMedia UK Launch

Home to the Mayor of London, City Hall has been chosen by IDEA Media to launch the first ever international tech and media conference dedicated to Russia, to leading UK CEO’s and decision makers on Thursday 17th May 2012.

IDEA Media announced today that not only will they launch EuraMedia to the UKon 17th May but there will also be a collaboration of presentations from the UKTI, BBC, plus a possible satellite link up to the co-founder of Apple Inc, Steve Wozinak, to express the importance ofUK participation in a conference dedicated to uniting business entrepreneurs. Learning and sharing experiences, networking and anticipating the future growth of the Russian market and its integration with the West.

With an infamous history in technology, Wozniak is the perfect fit for theSummit.  Wozniak said, “I am very excited to participate the EuraMedia Summit.  Considering the current pace of technological advancement, an exchange of ideas between theUS,UKandRussiais critical.  Innovation is a product of collaboration so I hope this exchange will encourage entrepreneurship while also inspiring the next generation of great start ups”.

Anna Vissens, BBC’s Senior Producer for World Service Future Media will also talk about her interest in this unique event, where major investors will meet to invest in Russian companies while this market is ‘hot’ for the first time.

The event will mark the official opening of EuraMedia Summit 2012; happening inBoston,USfrom 13 – 16 June 2012 which has been created to assist new and experiencedUKandUSbrands to enter the Russian market with strategic, long term partners.
